IMDB Top 100

Below you will find the top 100 movies of all times, as registered by the users of IMDB. By using a complicated algorithm (based on the number of votes, the age of the movie and the frequency of updates), IMDB tries to create a logical list. This explains why recent movies like The Lord of the Rings for example might make it quickly in the top 10, but won't stay there long. In the end the list is a great mix of recent and older movies, and a very good representation in my eyes.
