Bangkok Dangerous

The views on this movie were very much divided. On the one hand most people thought the action sequences were well handled, never going over the top but still leaving enough eye-candy and funny twists to keep the audience captivated. But the romantic side aspect (using a story line borrowed from "The Killer") was redundant and quite frankly boring and uninteresting. The Pang Brothers who directed this film should have concentrated a bit more an the action and the not very original story line, and less on the melodramatic aspects that felt like a John Woo movie without the usual flair.

The use of Bangkok was not very original but still interesting. You even get a glimpse of the famous Brussels' viaduct that was given to Bangkok by the Belgian government :)
